Mr. Shaw, I want to first thank you for allowing me this opportunity to inform you of the wonderful staff you have at your dealership (Gladstone Suzuki). First a quick background on my wife and I. Last September 2010 we unfortunately had to indure a chapter 7 bankruptcy due to extensive medical bills due to our medically fragile children (state drug babys adopted by first birthday) We did however reafirm the 3 loans we had with our credit union.
Late November 2010 my wife wanted a Ford Mustang as a change to the years of driving a minivan since she was turning 40. Every dealer in town shunned us at the door with the (Oh you filed bk) I spotted a Legend Lime 05 GT at your lot and had the GREAT pleasure of dealing with Jacob whom after about 10 minutes assured me he (Gladstone Suzuki) could get it done. He did and my wife LOVES her intimidator (as she calls it).
Early February after being reasigned to Longview Washington for work Jacob again helped us by getting us into a small economical car to make the 80 mile daily round trip since driving my 02 V10 Excursion was not cost effective.
Saturday June 04 2011. After realizing that paying for the Excursion and the Mitsu plus gas wasn't any more cost effective with the continual high rise in gas prices, I contacted Jacob and he, Mike Case, and Steve went to work and again they AMAZE me. I am now in a Super Duty Powerstroke!
Your dealership is amazing and your employees (Jacob, Mike Case, and Steve) are the bomb. They never looked down on us, they always told us straight without insulting and they always went above and beyond. As long as those gentlemen work for you I will always ONLY come to Gladstone Suzuki for my vehicle needs. To The Potential Customer,
I have been a customer with Gladstone Suzuki now for 6+ years. Five cars later I am still a loyal fan of the product and the employees. In this industry, we hear too many negative experiences and forget to highlight the positive ones. Because when we have a positive experience we walk away feeling like we "Got that great deal and took 'em!"
First of all, I disagree with those comments because 1.) you can’t "take" someone who knows their industry better than you, 2.) if you received a "great deal", they knowingly made it work out for you. The key phrase is that they made it work for you. Knowingly made it work I should say.
With my last (yeah right...we will see if it’s my last hehe) purchase, I was working another deal with an OWNER of a Competing Brand. The owner had told me that they would make their deal with me work. They couldn’t understand why I would work a deal from Portland when I lived in Seattle! On top of that, they firmly believed that their product was a great product. I don’t doubt that at all. I thought their product was a good product too and that their car company was a reputable one at that. It is a highly recognized brand BUT...Suzuki beat their deal. The rival competitor gracefully bowed out, was surprised Suzuki’s deal worked out, and then encouraged me to go with Suzuki because of the warranty AND the parameters that were met...i.e. monthly payments, etc... Very respectable in my eyes watching two dealerships work deals for me with one supporting my decision either way.
In the end, Suzuki personally delivered my vehicle to me from Portland and left me a very happy individual. I would love to get into details about the product, warranty, NW conditions and their all wheel drive options, etc... but I don’t have 3 pages of emails to type up.
Here’s the deal people. I own my own business and deal with people on an everyday basis. I watched Jered Shaw and his team (Michael Lytle) make things happen where I thought wouldn’t happen. From out of college with bad credit to now great credit and owning my own business, Suzuki made it work and continually do so year after year. In business, relationships are KING. With Suzuki, you definitely get that and some. I recommend these guys to anyone and am more than happy to answer questions to potential customers out there about Suzuki’s product and their service.
I hope your buying experience is just as good as mine or BETTER! Let your 100,000 miles be a happy one with Suzuki. Thanks for allowing me to share my story!!!

I just want to let everyone know what an amazing job Gladstone Suzuki did for me! Now I have been shopping with several dealerships in Beaverton on 122nd as well as dealers on Mcgloughlin. I can't tell you how much run around I got from almost all of them. I mean, yes I'm picky but I knew pretty much what I wanted vehicle wise, and knew what my budget was. Without naming any names there's a few other "BIG" dealers on Mcgloughlin Blvd where the salesman were very pushy, kind of rude on the phone, etc. Not to mention calling some of the dealerships and driving all the way across town to see a car- then POOF- it sold within the 2 hours it took me to get there...Yeah thanks for the call to save me the trip. I worked with a guy by the name of Mike Case- at Gladstone Suzuki- he was very honest and upfront, worked with me showing me several different vehicles. Gladstone Suzuki was very professional and understanding and I got a great deal! Without the back and forth B.S. I got everywhere else.
Great!! I came up to Auto Truck Source/Gladstone Suzuki with not a lot of hope of purchasing a late model low mileage pre-owned vehicle. At Gladstone Suzuki I was treated with respect and never at anytime, did I feel uncomfortable about my situation and Rick Smead was the BEST! I got more than I could ask for at Gladstone Suzuki.
Bottom line- I got exactly the vehicle I NEEDED- the Price was amazing and I got an exceptional interest rate- even though my credit's not PERFECT!! I just want to say to anyone in the market- Give Gladstone Suzuki a shot they are amazing!

I got a call from Gladstone Suzuki and at first I was sceptical, but as soon as my wife and I showed up, we were greeted greatly and the whole experience was great. They did everything I asked, even after every other dealer that we went to told us no. We finally got a yes and we are very happy, Mike Lyttle was very great he didn't make us feel nervous at all. He made it a very good expierence and i will only go to Glastone Suzuki from here on out.
